Puretech Racing Sports Relief Event
Hey guys,
Im just posting up about an event that some of you may be interested in. Next Tuesday - 16th march there is a event at Puretech racing in Gatwick - At the old sidlow garage opposite the Hot air balloon pub. They are a new company who are opening in April 2010. They have F1 simulators and you can go as a group and race each other. Here is there info on their facebook page We are going to be hosting a Sport Relief event for the BBC and Cisco Systems. If you would like to come to the Puretech race centre next Tuesday between 16:00 to 22:00 (times to be confirmed) and have a try of the simulators then now is your chance. We will be asking for a minimum donation of just £5 that will go straight to Sport Relief. Puretech Racing will offer a prize of a FREE FULL SESSION when the centre opens in April for the person with the fastest lap of the evening. Refreshments will be available to buy with monies again going to Sport Relief. For more info please e mail me at n.dunn@brdsim.com It is now looking very likely that we are going to be having some pro drivers come along to this event. I will post on here when we get conformation Here is their website www.puretechracing.com So there you go if you do fancy coming along then names below - Remember there is a £5 donation when you go in and it sounds like its going to be very busy so simulator drives will be for 3 laps i believe! Myself and Andy will be heading down about half seven so the plan is to meet at Tesco's overflow carpark at 7.30pm. So let me know if you fancy coming along, sounds like a exciting new company! sounds awesome, i wanna go.
The simultor apparently is very realistic when you brake it moves back and when you accelarte it goes foward to give the feeling of a real car.

Due to work commitments, we aren't going to be able to make this now, not sure if anyone else is planning to meet up but we can't make it
