That Porsche Panamera

Anyone seen one of these on the roads yet?

I've seen a few round near where I work in London and I have to admit they've grown on me a lot. When I first saw them, in pictures or on TV I didn't think much of them.

Have to say though, they have a big road prescence, more so than a lot of other cars. Especially for a four door, practical car. Good think about it is that it looks like a Porsche without trying to be one of the other models like a 911 of a Cayment



Infinitely better looking than the worlds ugliest car ever otherwise known as the Porsche Cayenne!

I'll find some more angles haha. Surely it can't be more wrong than a Cayenne though? As in a 911 put on big wheels with a rear end designed by someone who's never seen a car before? lol

There is one that parks up round my way fairly often but I wouldn't have one personally. If you need back seats for the kids etc and were looking at that kind of car, I would go for the Masarati myself or something like an M5.

The issue for me is that Porsche use the same front and back for every car. This was on Top Gear last night as it goes and they were digging at it saying it looks like every other Porsche as well. The Cayenne should be killed with fire.

Ha ha yeah see that picture really makes it look wrong and the bonnet is horribly long thats the 1st thing i noticed when I saw in 'Real life'. I'm not a fan of the Cayenne by any means but at least with the height its in proportion if you know what I mean.

With the Cayenne they didn't even go as so far as to give it the back end a Porsche look though! They just gave it Porsche lights on the front and on the back they just made it look like a van.

Ugliest car on the road without a doubt!! haha

The Panamera is more marmite, I don't think I could say it's genuinely ugly but it won't be to everyones taste.

All manufacturers tend to keep their cars within the same styling accross the range so that's why I like that the Panamera looks like a Porsche. Where as the Cayenne is just some b*stard love child of a Porsche!! lol

Porsche excel at making rear engined, rear wheel drive sports cars, they should stick with what they know imo!!

They should have stuck with real performance cars. Not wanky 4x4's and 4 doors.

Like Jag....life started as luxury wagons. Now you can get a shitty deisel for fuck all.
