TV Car Shows

Obviously we all love Top Gear, I think that's a given if you're a car fan.

But what about all the other car shows that are on TV, especially Discovery Turbo. Anyone watch them.

Chop Shop - have to admire the guys ability to design and fabricate a car without even drawing anything but still not convinced on some of his creations.

Wrecks to Riches USA - Love this one, some of the SMCs (Super Muscle Cars) they make are incredible. I guess them auctioning them at the end of each show for usually $50k+ proves that.

Wheeler Dealers - Good show and get to see some interesting cars in the UK get brought back to life. Never seem to make much wedge on them though haha.

Anyone else watch these or recommend other shows?

Yeah that's a good show, the only thing I find frustrating about some of them is that you don't get to see a finished car/bike within one episode.

You have to follow the series which I'm rubbish at haha. That Wrecks to Riches USA is good as you get to see a car go from scrap to awesome in a 30 minute show.

The worst one I have ever seen is Slips... Just cringeworthy but somehow it makes me watch til the end

i like overhaulin with chip foose i love abit of yank wank but you have to love what he dose his disign skills are second to none!!

I've never even heard of that let alone watched it, then again after that recommendation I don't think I will hahaha.

Chip Foose is absolutely incredible, just watching him drawing his designs up is amazing.

Thing is some of those American muscle cars are simply awesome though. Those Hemi lumps they just get delivered in a crate with 500bhp are wicked!

Slips was shite! I kinda liked PMR UK only because I find it hilarious to watch Tim Westwood....the cars were crap though

The cars in Pimp My Ride UK were embarassing to the UK weren't they!! haha

You see them go in on the US version and it's no expense spared and some of the cars look quite cool. The UK cars come out looking like a ram raid on Ripspeed.

Also how many of those cars end up stolen/wrecked/scrapped anyway.

ok on pimp my ride uk i have a soft touch for the cozzie style capri but like alex said if it had bin america it would have have a v8 dumped in it to replace the 1.6 lazer lump, should have had a cozzie dumped in atleast ha ha rant over
